ANBF Championship Pathways & Affiliations
ANBF Support of Mr. America
The ANBF proudly supports the Mr. America competition and recognizes its historical significance within the sport of bodybuilding.
Certain ANBF events serve as direct qualifying pathways to Mr. America, providing athletes with a clear, merit-based route to compete for one of the most recognized titles in the industry.
Following Mr. America, select ANBF Pro events function as Mr. America Pro Activation Events. While Mr. America crowns new professional athletes, those competitors have the option to elect ANBF Pro status. When they do, the next eligible ANBF Pro event becomes the stage where that status is activated.
These activation events represent the first opportunity for newly recognized professionals to step into ANBF Pro competition and immediately test themselves in a championship-level environment.
ANBF & Drug Free Bodybuilding Alliance Partnership
The ANBF is a proud member of the Drug Free Bodybuilding Alliance (DFBA), expanding international opportunities for our professional athletes within a unified, drug-tested framework.
ANBF Pro athletes are eligible to compete in DFBA International and Global events, providing access to high-level competition on a worldwide stage.
Select ANBF Pro events are open to DFBA International affiliate Pro athletes, creating crossover competition and strengthening international depth across organizations.
In addition, certain ANBF events serve as official qualifying pathways to DFBA International Championships overseas, as well as any future DFBA Championship events held in the United States, giving athletes a direct route from ANBF competition to global representation.
