Fem Fit Physique

Women’s Bodybuilding consists of group comparisons and individual presentations, tailor-made to highlight the strength, determination, and artistic presentation of female bodybuilders. Competitors are allowed to wear posing suits of any color, and while the choice of style is flexible, overtly revealing designs such as thong and T-back styles are not permitted. Participants must be 16 years of age or older to compete, and those under 18 must procure parental consent to participate.

In order to maintain the integrity and specialization of each category, competitors are restricted from participating in other categories within the same show. Any display of inappropriate or overtly sexual behavior, or any conduct that may be deemed disruptive or unsuitable for a diverse audience, including minors, will be grounds for disqualification.

Judging Criteria

Judges will evaluate competitors based on their overall physical appearance, which includes aspects such as balance, proportion, and symmetry of muscularity, along with fitness conditioning and presentation. An overly muscular or excessively lean body, akin to bodybuilding categories, is not the objective. The aim is to present a physically fit, well-defined, and feminine physique.
The desired Fem Fit Physique look leans towards a noticeable level of muscularity without extreme density or striations. Competitors should possess rounded shoulders, toned arms, a defined back, along with a firm, flat abdomen, and well-developed thighs and glutes.

Group Comparisons

During this phase, classes are brought to the front center stage, allowing judges to make comparisons based on systematic quarter-turn poses. Competitors must adhere strictly to the posing guidelines; failure to do so may affect their scores.

  • Front Pose
    • Competitors stand facing the judges, keeping feet close together.
    • Arms should be positioned naturally to highlight the body’s symmetry, without over flexing.
  • Side Pose
    • Hips and head should face the side of the stage.
    • One hand can rest on the hip, while the other hangs naturally beside the body.
  • Back Pose
    • Competitors face the back of the stage, showcasing the back’s muscular development.
    • Feet must remain parallel to each other, ensuring that the physique’s symmetry is maintained.

Individual Presentations

In this segment, each competitor gets the opportunity to highlight their physique through a personalized stage walk set to music. This involves walking to the rear center stage, pausing briefly in a preferred pose, and then proceeding towards the front center stage to perform quarter turns. This section allows the competitor to present front, side, and back views of their physique through various angles and poses.

Although the individual presentation does not contribute to placement scoring, it holds significance for consideration towards the Best Presentation awards, where applicable.
